A more human - and effective - work environment:
BeThe1 believes that making the most of a company's human capital will be the key to increasing the economic value of companies. Some of us have experienced the devastating effects that a lack of respect for employees can have, and struggle with conflicting attitudes to how to motivate personnel while watching the company's bottom line at the same time.
We are currently witnessing a rapprochement of employee and shareholder interests, and BeThe1 hopes to make a modest contribution to this development by offering professionals free access to the job market and by providing companies with high-quality services in the field of human resources.
|
|
Donations to humanitarian organizations:
BeThe1 is committed to donating 0.5% of net sales.
We have decided to support organizations dedicated to training disadvantaged people because we believe strongly in the old saying "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for one day; if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for the rest of his life.''

Our first organization is the Central Institute on Mental Retardation (see more at www.cimr.info) based in Thiruvananthapuram, capital of Kerala State in southern India.
CIMR educates and trains children with Down's syndrome and their parents. Parents learn how to take better care of their developmentally disabled child in the absence of adequate local services.
During a visit in India in December 2004, CIMR and BeThe1 had a dream of building a theatre where mentally retarded people would develop, show and earn a living (at least partly) from their remarkable talents to express emotions through music and dance.
Luckily, BeThe1 managed to find the necessary funding in Europe which allowed CIMR to build a theatre in Kovalam (the great sea resort of Kerala, near Trivandrum). Here are a few pictures from the May 2007 opening ceremony.
